All patients registered at the Bishop’s Castle Medical Practice are automatically members of the Bishop’s Castle Patients Group (BCPG). To help make the views of patients known to the surgery there is a Bishop’s Castle Patients Group Steering Committee.
The purposes of the Steering committee are to:
- Assist, where appropriate, with communications to and from the Practice to ensure that patients’ views are considered
- Act as a ‘critical friend’ to the Practice, by providing patients’ perspectives about the services offered
- Identify local community organisations and services to enhance aspects of patients’ lives and to provide contact information
- Initiate/support/ suggest and discuss possible improvements to the Practice
- Maintain an active interest and involvement in wider health issues potentially affecting patients
- Maintain contact with other Patients Groups within our local Primary Care Network of GP surgeries.
You can contact the Bishop’s Castle Patients Group in confidence by email at BCPatientsGroup@gmail.com
BCPG cannot deal with individual complaints; these should be dealt with through established NHS procedures. On the Bishop’s Castle Medical Practice website there is information on how to make complaints or give feedback.
