Flu and Covid Vaccinations.

We will be offering Flu and Covid Vaccinations for eligible patients at the practice this autumn.

Following goverment guidance we will be starting cinics in October.

Blood Tests.

We are Pleased to announce that, followiing successful talks with NHS Shropshire , Telford and Wrekin, we are once again able to offer blood tests at the practice. We will restart blood tests Immediately. 

We would like to thank all of our patients for their understanding throughout this process, we understand that this has been a frustrating time, and we really appreciate the support we have been given. 

We would also like to thank NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin for working with us to find a solution that means we can provide this vital service from our practice. 

Update on blood tests

Unfortunately, despite ongoing discussions with NHS Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, a suitable resolution has not yet been found to enable the phlebotomy service to continue from here after 25^th June.

While we are still hopeful that a local solution will be found we must ask for now, that all patients who need a blood test attend the Path Lab at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, or the Community Diagnostic Clinics in either Telford or Whitchurch.

This is not a decision we wanted to make, and we are aware of the impact that this will have on many of our patients, however we cannot continue to offer additional services that are not appropriately funded and potentially jeopardise our ability to offer our core contracted services.

Surgery Closure

The Surgery will be closed from 12pm on wednesday 19th June. All our staff members will be attending Training for the afternoon. The Surgery will reopen as usual on Thursday 20th at 8am. If you require medical attention during the time the Surgery is closed please call NHS 111.
