Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor’s discretion.
Requests for prescriptions can be made online via the link at the top of the previous page (ask at reception for details of registration).
If you have signed up to the EPS (electronic prescription service) system, we will automatically send your prescription to your nominated pharmacy electronically. If you wish to sign up for EPS please speak to your preferred pharmacy who will arrange it for you.
You will normally be issued with a computer printed slip attached to the right hand side of your prescription. When you require a repeat prescription please tick the items required and return the slip to the surgery
If you have mislaid your printed slip, requests can be made in writing, please include your name, date of birth, name of the medication and dosage.
You may drop your request in by hand at reception or through the letterbox or post it to the surgery. On receipt of a stamped addressed envelope we can post your prescription to you or the pharmacy of your choice.
We do not accept requests for repeat medication over the phone.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. We like to align these reviews to the month of your birthday.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
